Map
Last updated: 9 March 2006
The sketch map issued with the 2005 leaflet remains the current map. It is a simple sketch of the village and the start of the trail, and it is not reproduced here; it is a paper thing, and it is issued at the desk. Numbered points on that sketch correspond to the list below. The list is not a drawing, and it will not scale.
The trail board uses a different numbering in part. If you have the 2003 leaflet, read the correction as well as the key.
- Heritage Centre
- Village Hall
- Church
- Memorial garden
- Start of the Green Man Trail (porch)
- Second stile
- Withdrawn
- Forest fence
- Water — shown on the sketch as a neighbouring feature of the district, not as a stop on the trail. See if you reach the water.
Point 9 is the water. It is on the sketch because the water is in the country, and visitors often ask. There is no public landing for Plashetts; the operators of the shore keep their own landings.
