Extracts from notes circulated to the Tourism Committee. They are included here as a record of practical matters through the last two seasons, for visitors who like to see how the year has gone. They are not minutes of the parish council.

12 April 2004

The inn sign is to remain down until the licence position is clear. The Easter reopening will not now take place. Notice to be posted.

19 August 2004

Village webcam trial ended. The last image is not to be kept on the machine at the centre. Page on the website to be left as an explanation only. See 2004.

3 July 2005

Gathering smaller than last year. The advertised speaker did not attend. Evening at the hall cancelled. Thanks recorded to those who provided tea. See 2005.

11 October 2005

Eastern loop walked by Mrs Hedley and Mr Robson. Two waymarkers missing after the second stile. Loop not to be included in the advertised mileage. Board to say: do not begin after 15.00 in winter. See paths.

8 November 2005

Sunday tea to continue while numbers allow. Key held at the centre. Treasurer still vacant.

14 March 2006

Leaflet correction sheet still required for the 2003 printing. No new print ordered. Outer board current. Numbering of the drawers behind the desk was not continued after the third.
