Forest View

Forest View offers two rooms, by arrangement with Miss A. Ridley. The house looks into the trees, as its name suggests, and it is a quiet house. Breakfast is provided when a booking has been accepted. There is no evening meal while the inn is closed; Falstone and Kielder are the practical alternatives, and a flask will serve on the trail. The house is not a hotel and is not signed from the road.

Enquiries go through the Heritage Centre, which is the arrangement Miss Ridley prefers. See booking. If the centre is shut, leave a letter. The house is a private house first, and a room for visitors second, and that is the character of a stay there.
