We are glad of remarks from visitors. They are shown when they have been seen by this office. They have not been edited except where a telephone number was given. A new remark may be left by signing the guestbook.
- 28 December 2000
- Between the years. Centre shut. Board enough. A light was on downstairs at the inn. We had thought of asking for a room, then did not knock, it being that week. Slept in Kielder. — G. Rossi, Manchester
- 21 December 2000
- A pleasant green. — The Ridleys, Prudhoe
- 16 December 2000
- A winter afternoon on the green. The kiosk is no longer a telephone, as you note. We had brought a phone card for nothing. Falstone did us on the way home. Seasons greetings. — P. Nowak, Bradford
- 9 December 2000
- Thank you to the desk. — Cal, Newcastle
- 26 November 2000
- Stopped for bread, then here. — The Bateys, Hexham
- 14 November 2000
- Came by the valley road. — Nina, Sheffield
- 12 November 2000
- A second visit, for the larch. The green holds the colour, as your page says. Tea was not on this Sunday; we sat on the bench with our own flask and were content. — Dorothy P., Hexham
- 5 November 2000
- Short walk, churchyard only. Older stones lean and we did not stand on them. The Green Man is inside, not in the yard, which I had got wrong from a guidebook that was not yours. Your pages have it right. — Craig L., Paisley
- 1 November 2000
- Stiles in order. — The Frosts, York
- 21 October 2000
- October larch, as promised. The rides are a different country. We gave way to a forestry vehicle and were thanked. A working forest, and we treated it as such. — The Allens, Darlington
- 20 October 2000
- About four miles. Right enough. — Hugh, Harrogate
- 7 October 2000
- The sketch helped. — The Watts, Wakefield
- 4 October 2000
- We are staying at the youth hostel at Kielder. Plashetts is a good half-day. The memorial garden is kept. Thank you for the English of the mining labels, which we could follow. — Ingrid & Klaus, Hamburg
- 25 September 2000
- Board was enough. — B. Shah, Bradford
- 17 September 2000
- Birds in the rides this morning: siskin, coal tit, a buzzard over the larch. The forest paths toward the Kielder edge are quieter than the main trail and well worth the extra hour if you have it. I did not see a warden, which I take is as intended. — Ian Coulson, Newcastle
