Camera club
Last updated: 12 November 2005
The Plashetts Camera Club meets upstairs at Armstrong's, the photograph shop on the lane past Forest View, next door to The Ginger Cat. First Thursday of the month, half past seven. The shop is shut for the meeting; ask at the counter in the week for the side door. Visitors are welcome. Names may be left at the counter. There is no subscription taken at the desk of this office.

The club room, upstairs. Photograph from a club night; the prints on the far wall are changed when new mounts come in.
The club has met in that room for a long time, since before this website, and since before the shop had a fax. Work is brought in, and hung, and talked over. A projector is used when someone has slides. The prints presently on the walls are shown on this website as the club has given them, with the titles and the dates as written on the mounts. The mining gallery at the centre is a different collection, and is not the club.

Film for club work may be bought downstairs, and left for developing there. Framing is the shop’s. The club does not take wedding bookings; those are Armstrong's, at the counter. Leave the car at the hall.
