The museum

The Plashetts museum collection was moved to the Heritage Centre in 2001, when the present building opened in the former school. The tools, the photographs, the model of the pit-head and the labels of the mining years are all in the main room there, which is a better home for them than the arrangement they had before.

This page is left for those still using older addresses and printed matter. There is no separate museum building. Please go to the Heritage Centre, on the green.
