Ticks are present in season on the wider parish walks. That is a trail condition, not a camp condition, but persons sleeping on the grass are exposed in the same way. No information card was found. Dogs are not prohibited. No bin for dog waste stands on the field. Children on the Gathering weekend were not the subject of any additional control.
Occupiers’ Liability Act 1957 duties sit with the occupier. The Authority’s residual exposure is as licensing authority if it has allowed a public use to continue without a determination. That exposure is not quantified in this paper.
